Police were alerted to the incident just before 8 a.m. Thursday, after the girl had arrived at Cockeysville Middle School and informed authorities of what had happened.

The middle schooler told officials that she was approached by Argueta while she was walking to campus, and that he had identified himself as a family friend before persuading her to get in his car.

The girl was driven to "multiple locations" before eventually being dropped off at school, according to the report.

Argueta remains held without bond.
