TOWSON, MD — A 21-year-old man was identified Monday in the lone deadly shooting reported by Baltimore County Police over the weekend.
A release issued by the Baltimore County Police Department identified Tavaughn Hamlet Jr. as the man who was fatally shot in Towson.
The shooting, according to investigators, took place Sunday just after 11 a.m. on the 8700 block of Mylander Lane.
No additional details were released by authorities.

The Sunday shooting took place hours after a man was left critically injured after suffering a gunshot wound in the Gwynn Oak area.
Authorities said Baltimore County officers had responded to at least four shootings over the last weekend.
