TOWSON, MD — Oluwajomiloju Sekiteri, a 22-year-old Towson University student, was ordered Monday to 18 months of home detention and 170 hours of community service for a fatal November 2025 crosswalk crash, according to a report.
Authorities said Sekiteri had run a red light and fatally hit both 32-year-old Jordan Sachs and his dog, Archie, at the crosswalk of Towsontown Boulevard West and Emerson Drive.
Court records show prosecutors initially requested Sekiteri be sentenced to three years with all but 18 months suspended.
Luisa Renzi, Sachs' mother, told Fox 45 that Sekiteri's sentencing "was like getting a timeout."
