The Arc Baltimore Honors GBMC's Kenneth Greene, MD

Dr. Kenneth Greene of GBMC is the recipient of The Arc Baltimore’s 2018 Professional of the Year Award.

The Professional of the Year award is given in memory of Thomas Ferciot, a medical doctor with a sister who had disabilities. This award recognizes a professional who gives service to individuals with disabilities that is characterized by excellence and sensitivity.

Dr. Greene has always demonstrated a high level of professionalism and commitment to the people supported by The Arc Baltimore. He works tirelessly to ensure that his patients are healthy and thriving. He makes himself available at all hours to respond to their needs – as an excellent physician and a wonderful and caring human being. His humanity comes across in everything he does to address their medical needs of his patients and he shows his personal caring. The patients appreciate him as do the many staff with whom he interacts and ensures they are comfortable and clear about needed treatment.
