Touring the inside of the building on Saturday, November 2 - the start of Week 22 - I was wowed by another milestone: the new walls! Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, the dry wall had been delivered. By Friday afternoon, the interior walls were all up! Paint colors and fabric for the windows have been chosen and painting will begin sometime during this coming week. Outside, I admired the building, which had been completely shingled. Several volunteers had finished digging and were installing the drainage line for the house behind ACTC to ensure its basement stays dry for future use as a food storage area.
