Baltimore County School Board Seeks Input On Proposed Calendar, School Climate, Discipline

What do you think of the climate in Baltimore County Public Schools? The Board of Ed wants to know.

TOWSON, MD - From Baltimore County Public Schools: The Board of Education will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at its Greenwood Campus, 6901 N. Charles Street, Building E, Towson, Maryland 21204.

The Board’s Building and Contracts Committee will meet at 4:00 p.m. The Board’s regular open session will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m. The Board will then meet in closed session as permitted by law. Following closed session, Board members will dine with members of the Baltimore County Area Education Advisory Councils. The open session will reconvene at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend all open sessions.

The Board will also seek the community’s input concerning the proposed 2018-2019 school calendar and school climate, school behavior, and discipline. Sign-up for those members of the public wishing to speak at the October public comment portion of the meeting on these two topics, begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Campus, 6901 N. Charles Street, Building E, Towson, Maryland 21204.
