Weather Decision From Baltimore County Public Schools For Monday, Jan. 30

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — All after-school and evening activities at Baltimore County Public Schools facilities are canceled for Monday, Jan. 30, according to a statement from school officials.

Authorities cited inclement weather as the reason for the cancellation of activities.

Scattered snow showers were reported in the region, with temperatures expected to drop below freezing as the afternoon gave way to the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

By 2 p.m., there were multiple crashes reported because of snowy conditions on Interstate 83 in York, Pennsylvania, according to the York Daily Record. Weather officials said the snow squalls were moving east from Pennsylvania toward parts of eastern Maryland Monday afternoon.
