Weather Decision from Baltimore County Schools

Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 9, school officials announced Tuesday morning. School offices will open on a two-hour delay.

Baltimore County is under a winter weather advisory until midnight, with the potential for 2 to 5 inches of snow Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Wet snow was falling across the region Tuesday morning, and the Maryland Transportation Authority advised drivers to allow extra time for their morning commute and to be aware that what looks wet may be ice.
