Sensitive vegetation or crops may be killed as temperatures plummet, weather officials say.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for several counties — including Baltimore — effective from 3 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

A freeze watch means that below-freezing temperatures are expected.

Sensitive vegetation that is not covered may be killed Wednesday morning, according to weather officials, who said that temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 30s.
