Baltimore Soup Company founders David and Lisa Redmond operated several cafes (such as Cafe Gourmet and Dillweeds Cafe) in the past but decided to hone in on one of their more popular offerings, since at least a quarter of their business at each eatery was attributed to soup, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Baltimore Soup Company is open Monday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 3 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson. See the menu.
