BaltoCo Cold-Weather Shelter Plan In Effect
Baltimore County has announced the cold-weather shelter plan is effective through Thursday, Feb. 8.

From Baltimore County Government: The Baltimore County Freezing Weather Shelter plan will be activated Monday night (2/5/2018) and remain active each night through Thursday night (2/8/2018). Residents in need of shelter to avoid extreme night time cold conditions should be directed to the Eastern Family Resource Center or Westside Men's. The Freezing Weather Shelter activation begins at 6:00 p.m. each evening and continues through 9:00 a.m. the following morning. Guests are asked to arrive for intake at each shelter between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. each evening during activation.
Callers should be directed to the Department of Social Services' Information, Referral and Screening line at 410-853-3000, Option 2 during regular business hours or the Baltimore County DSS After Hours call service at 410-583-9398 outside of regular business hours.
*Note: The freezing weather shelter plan for 2017-2018 has changed from previous years. The Northpoint Government Center will no longer be used for routine freezing weather sheltering.
