BBB Issues a Call for Entries for 2017 Torch Awards
Now accepting applications from businesses and non-profits for its 2017 Torch Awards for Ethics.

BBB serving Greater Maryland is now accepting applications from businesses and non-profits for its 2017 Torch Awards for Ethics. There is no fee to enter. Applicants are judged on in one of four categories according to number of employees. A complete list of eligibility guidelines, along with the application, are available online at marylandbbb.org.
"This year marks our 100th anniversary helping businesses and consumers build trust in Maryland," said Angie Barnett, president and CEO, BBB serving Greater Maryland. "There's never been a better time to share stories about how local leaders create a culture of ethics. The Torch Awards includes criteria that examines the way they strive for excellence, manage employees, treat customers and engage with their communities," she added.
The initial application is due June 15. Applicants will be screened to insure they meet all eligibility requirements, have been serving customers for a minimum of three years, have a BBB rating B or better and have not won the award in the last three years. Winners will be announced following an appearance by the Pride of Baltimore II at BBB's Centennial Celebration, the evening of Wednesday, September 13 at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.
