BCPS Internet Issues Reported Thursday

Officials say both students and staff in Baltimore County Public Schools may have problems with internet Thursday, April 8.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Authorities say Baltimore County Public Schools staff and students may be having technical difficulties Thursday morning.

The internet issues are intermittent, according to officials.

"Staff are working on the issue," Baltimore County Public Schools reported before 9 a.m.

The school system is currently operating within a hybrid model of instruction, with some students in person and others learning virtually, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Several parents commented on the Baltimore County Public Schools Facebook page that internet connectivity issues had been problematic Wednesday as well.
