BCPS Makes Weather Call For Friday, March 1

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools will open late on Friday, March 1. Officials from BCPS made the call Friday morning.

All public schools and school offices will open two hours late on Friday, according to the announcement.

Morning prekindergarten is canceled on Friday, officials said.

Baltimore County is under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Friday calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow.

There had been 2.5 inches of snow in Owings Mills by 4:16 a.m., according to preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service.
