“Big Earl” Goes to Seed:

A Valley View staff member carved “Big Earl,” a giant 1,543-pound pumpkin, to begin a search for seeds on Saturday.

WBAL Radio/TV meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer got help from onlookers in locating the seeds that he and his wife then carefully counted to see who won the contest.
