The Board of Education will hold its next meeting virtually on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. The public will be able to view and listen to the meeting. The public may view the meeting through the Microsoft Teams platform at the links listed on the Board’s web page and on the agenda.
The Board of Education’s Building and Contracts Committee is scheduled to meet at 3:30 p.m. The Board’s regular open session will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m. The Board will then meet in closed session as permitted by law. The open session will reconvene at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to view and to listen to all open sessions.
The school system is committed to accessible communication with its stakeholders. In order to provide comment as a stakeholder, member of the public, or provide input on Board policies, members of the public may submit their written comments to the Board at boe@mybcps.info. The Board reserves the right to disseminate public comments through BoardDocs, as long as: (1) submitters specifically request their comments be published as part of the public record; (2) the comments adhere to the Board’s stated guidelines, (3) the comments include the name of the submitter, and (4) the comments have been received before 11:59 p.m. on the Monday before the board meeting.
