Body Found Near Loch Raven Reservoir: Police

The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a homicide near Pot Spring Road, officials say.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a homicide is under investigation in Baltimore County Friday. Media members were staging along Pot Spring at Colonade roads.

Before 10 a.m., police said a citizen walking in the woods on a trail off Pot Spring Road near Colonade Road spotted the woman's body and called in the incident as a rescue. Officials said the woman was at the bottom of a slope near the edge of a stream.

Her body was found in the water near the Loch Raven Reservoir by a person walking a dog, WBAL reported.

Police said the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officials have not yet identified the person who was killed.

As detectives investigate the homicide, they ask anyone with information about the case to call the Baltimore County Police Department's violent crimes unit at 410-307-2020.
