Calling All Superheroes for Children! Join Team CASA at the Baltimore Running Festival!
Nonprofit dedicated to ensuring abused and neglected children their right to safe, permanent homes seeks runners to join their charity team.
Care about children? Want to get some exercise and help a worthy cause? Here's a great opportunity! Maryland CASA Association is looking to recruit runners/walkers to join Team CASA, its official charity team participating for its 9th consecutive year in the Baltimore Running Festival on Saturday, October 21st.
Maryland CASA recruits and trains volunteers to serve as advocates for children who are under court protection due to abuse and neglect. Currently, only 1 in 5 children have advocates speaking up for their best interests. Join Team CASA and help raise awareness and funds to provide more advocates for Maryland’s most vulnerable children!
Team members come from all walks of life – from serious athletes and marathoners to co-workers and families tackling their first 5K – but all are committed to supporting Maryland CASA in our efforts to reach more children who need our help!
