Closings, Delays in Baltimore County for Tuesday
Recycling canceled, plus schools, government offices and other organizations modify schedules on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – Days after the weekend snowstorm, many schools and offices are operating on modified schedules while Baltimore County works to clear the more than 2 feet of snow that accumulated:
Baltimore County Public Schools are closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Baltimore County government is opening late on Tuesday, Jan. 26. County government offices will open at 11:30 a.m. with liberal leave in effect for nonemergency or nonessential employees. See the Inclement Weather Policy (Operational Plans I and II) for more information.

Maryland state government offices will have liberal leave starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, until the end of the day shift. Employees are encouraged to telework if eligible. Emergency essential personnel report as scheduled.
Recycling pickup is canceled for the week. Trash collection will occur where possible, and nothing will be picked up from alleys.

Baltimore County Public Library branches will open at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 26, and close as scheduled.
MARC will have limited service on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Light rail, metro subway and MTA Bus service are expected to be gradually restored.
Baltimore County Circuit Court will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Jurors should not report.
Baltimore County Restaurant Week has been extended until Saturday, Feb. 6.
Hampton National Historic Site will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Boys’ Latin is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Campus remains closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
Bryn Mawr School will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Friends School is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. All activities are canceled.
McDonogh School is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Campus is closed to all vehicular traffic for snow removal. All events and activities Tuesday are canceled or postponed. Parents and Students: Please continue to check email and online for communication from teachers.
Roland Park Country School is closed Tuesday, Jan. 26.
The St. Paul’s Schools will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 26
Colleges and Universities
CCBC will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Goucher College is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Move-in day will continue as planned, starting at noon. Loop Road will become a one-way street going counterclockwise around campus. All vehicles will be required to stop at the gatehouse for additional instructions. Dining halls will run on a weekend schedule and food service will be limited, because many Bon Appetit employees are unable to get to campus.
Johns Hopkins University campuses, facilities and events are closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Day and evening in-person classes are canceled. In some cases, students may receive instructions about online class meetings. Some services will be available. The rec center opens at 8 a.m. and the library opens at 11 a.m. All required attendance employees, outpatient center employees and outpatient clinic employees report as scheduled.
Loyola will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Some services are available. The library will be open from noon to 4 p.m.
Notre Dame of Maryland University will be closed through Tuesday, Jan. 26. Classes and regular operations resume at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27. Resident students may move in starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
Stevenson University will now remain closed through Tuesday, Jan. 26. Move-in begins at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 27. The first day of classes will be Thursday, Jan. 28.
Towson University is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Move-in has been postponed until Wednesday, Jan. 27. Towson will be open Wednesday, Jan. 27, but classes cancelled. Classes will begin on Thursday, Jan. 28.
