Comptroller's Towson Office Getting Facelift

Comptroller Peter Franchot has announced that his office in Towson will be closed for renovations on Monday, July 7.

It will be getting new paint and carpeting as well as two interior offices and a conference room, according to a report from the comptroller.

According to Franchot, the improvements to the Towson office will make it easier to find and enable staff to work more effectively.

“The agency’s branch office staff, as well as all 1,100 employees, strive to provide the best possible service to Maryland’s taxpayers,” Franchot said.

The office will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8.

The comptroller's Towson office is in the Hampton Plaza at 300 E. Joppa Road, Plaza Level 1A. It is one of 12 offices he has around the state.
