Wind Advisory: Damage to Power Lines, Trees Possible
National Weather Service issues wind advisory, suggests securing outdoor furniture and taking care while driving certain vehicles.

With gusts up to 50 mph possible, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory Tuesday for parts of Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
The wind advisory lasts from 4 p.m. to midnight, with the strongest gusts between 7 and 11 p.m., according to the weather service.
Citizens should secure outdoor furniture and be extra careful if driving high-profile vehicles.

The advisory includes Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince Georgeโs and St. Maryโs counties.
Winds will be 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 50 mph, which may result in damage to trees and power lines, according to the weather service.
