Deadly Bellona Avenue Crash Under Investigation
Police said one person died and another was injured in a head-on crash in the Towson area Thursday.
TOWSON, MD - One person died in a head-on collision on Bellona Avenue Thursday morning, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
The driver, who has not been publicly identified, was behind the wheel of a 2007 Ford F-150 truck that was headed north on Bellona Avenue near Blenheim Road when the crash occurred, officials reported.
According to police, the truck driver crossed the center line before 11 a.m. and hit a 2016 Chrysler 300C sedan that was headed south on Bellona Avenue, police said.

The driver of the sedan was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, officials reported.
The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital, where authorities said he was pronounced deceased.
