Encore Creativity for Older Adults, the nation’s largest choral singing program for adults age 55, will kick off a new season in the Fall 2017 of ENCORE ROCKS Towson, a Rock n’ Roll Chorus! The rock n’ roll themed program includes 15, 90-minute rehearsals, expert instruction under the direction of professional conductor, Doug Byerly, sheet music, a rehearsal CD in voice part, and a free concert performance for friends, family and the community at the end of the 15 week session.
There are no auditions, singers may be seated for rehearsals and performances if they wish, and do not need to be able to read music to participate. The Fall music selections will include memorable rock music – including The Beatles, Journey, The Beach Boys and more. All of the music will be three and four-part harmony, challenging and educating singers of all abilities and skill levels. The fee to participate for the season is $175.
