The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum located at Martin State Airport is having its Flying High Wednesday program for children 5 to 11 years old on August 8th offering 4 hours of aviation fun with a visit to the Museum's airplanes, hands-on activities and a musical avaition lesson with the Museum's theatre-in-residence Thirst 'n' Howl Musical Productions. As there is time for a lunch break, attendees should bring a lunch and a picnic blanket for enjoying their lunchtime watching air traffic. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The program fee is $6 for children and $3 for adults. Parking is free. This event, celebrating its 7th year of summer fun, is provided in part thanks to the support of the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences. As space is limited, reservations are required. Registration closes August 3rd and registration forms are available on the Museum's website.
