Common Ground on the Hill opens its 2012-13 Concert Season with Scotch/Irish flautist/singer Nuala Kennedy. Celebrating her newest Compass Records CD release, the live shows feature the U.S.-based trio of Kennedy on flute, Kyle Sanna on guitar and Dana Lyn on fiddle. Grounded in the traditions of Scotland and Ireland, Kennedy combines hauntingly beautiful vocals with adventurous instrumentation in a style widely celebrated throughout Europe and North America. The Common Ground on the Hill Baltimore Concert Series takes place at Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church, conveniently located on Charles Street between Bellona Avenue and Stevenson Lane. The Common Ground on the Hill Concert Series continues in both Baltimore and Westminster.
