Comprehensive Cancer Wellness Program

The Comprehensive Cancer Wellness Program is a collaborative initiative from the Towson University Wellness Center, the Towson University Nursing Department, and the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. This free, 8-week program is an outreach initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors, and other young adults affected by cancer in the Towson, MD area.  Experts from each of the contributing organizations will offer guidance related to exercise and emotional support.

All sessions take place at the brand new Towson University Institute for Well-Being (1 Olympic Place, Towson, MD 21204) from Monday, September 10 – Friday, November 2. Participants must commit to 2-3 exercise sessions per week, but can be scheduled based on their own availability during IWB business hours.  Our support group meets four times, biweekly.

For more information or to register for the program, please contact Thomas Pagano at the Towson University Wellness Center, at tpagano@towson.edu / (410) 704-4555.
