Perring Plaza Gas Main Break Has Been Fixed: Officials

PARKVILLE, MD - A broken gas main at Perring Plaza resulted in temporary evacuations on Tuesday so that crews could fix the utility issue.

As of approximately 1:15 p.m., Baltimore County public safety officials reported that the repair had been made and the scene was clear.

Crews were initially dispatched to the 1900 block of East Joppa Road to respond to the utility issue at 10:27 a.m., authorities reported.

BGE responded and some businesses were evacuated as a precaution, authorities reported.

According to officials, there were no injuries.
