Find Your Grail this Weekend!

Lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy GrailSPAMalot opened on Calvert Hall’s McManus Theatre stage on Friday, March 28th.  Shows this weekend are April 4, 5 at 7 pm and April 6 at 2 pm.  Tickets are $10 for students/seniors and $13 for adults and can be purchased in advance at www.calverthall.com/theatre or at the door.  The performance on April 5 will be followed by a dessert reception for theatre alumni, family and friends.  Please note that this show’s recommended audience is middle school age and older.

Rude Frenchmen, Cancan dancers, the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, killer rabbits, catapulting cows, and the somewhat odd Knights who say, "Ni" are just a few of the adventures and dangers awaiting King Arthur and his Knights of the very, very, very round table in their Quest for the Holy Grail. The cast and crew is comprised of 28 Calvert Hall actors, 8 talented young ladies from local high schools, 14 talented musicians and a technical team of skilled Hallmen. SPAMalot will have you dancing in your seats and laughing all evening long!

The play is directed by Mrs. Jillian Bauersfeld, choreographed by Chelsea Nori and under the musical direction of Mr. George Wilkerson.  Mr. Brooks Whiteford ’04 is the technical director, Ms. Charly Rosemary handles design and creativity direction and Mr. Nicholas Marini will conduct the orchestra.
