Fire at Loch Raven Reservoir Mostly Out: Officials
Crews battled brush fire at the reservoir Friday night, Baltimore County public safety officials said.

TOWSON, MD – More than 20 crews battled a brush fire at Loch Raven Reservoir Friday night, according to Baltimore County public safety officials.
By 7:30 p.m, the bulk of the fire had been extinguished, officials reported. Still, crews continued checking for hot spots to make sure the blaze was out.
The woods fire spanned 20 acres, according to the Baltimore County Volunteer Firemen's Association.

During the initial response, officials reported there were 26 units working at the scene after 5:30 p.m.
