Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library Welcomes Susan Anthony to Board
Susan Anthony, owner of a public relations company, will help advance Baltimore County Public Library's mission.

The Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library is pleased to welcome Susan J. Anthony to its Foundation Board. As owner of Sawmill Marketing Public Relations, Ms. Anthony brings years of valuable experience in support of Baltimore County Public Library’s commitment to a superior public library system where opportunities for literacy, reading enrichment and lifelong learning are available to all. The Foundation provides funding for projects that encourage children and young adults to cultivate a lifelong enthusiasm for reading and learning, such as Storyville, My First Library Card and Summer Reading Club, as well as raises funds for specific programs or projects that enhance systemwide Baltimore County Library goals and objectives.
“It is indeed my honor to welcome Ms. Anthony to the board of the Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library,” said Foundation Board President Jeffrey Smith. “Her wealth of experience and knowledge of public relations and marketing will help us to advance BCPL’s overall mission of serving central Maryland.”
Susan J. Anthony formed Sawmill Marketing Public Relations in 1995 following a 20-year tenure with national marketing communications agencies, including Carton Donofrio Partners in Baltimore where she served as executive vice president, director of public relations.
