Free Flu Shots in Towson on Thursday
Baltimore County is recognizing National Influenza Week.

To recognize National Influenza Vaccination Week, Baltimore County health officials are offering free flu shots on two days this week: Wednesday in Randallstown and Thursday in Towson.
Flu shots will be available from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Randallstown Community Center, 3505 Resource Drive.
In addition, they will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, at Drumcastle Government Center, 6401 York Road, on the third floor.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) particularly recommends vaccination for those at risk for serious complications, including adults 65 years or older; pregnant women; young children; and those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma and heart disease.
Baltimore County health officials recommended getting a flu shot before the holidays as well as taking other preventive measures like frequent hand-washing, covering coughs and sneezes and taking time off when needed.
