Free WiFi Available At 9 New Baltimore Co. Library Locations
Baltimore County is supporting students and residents during the new coronavirus pandemic by offering WiFi access at nine library locations.
TOWSON, MD – Baltimore County is supporting students and residents during the new coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home order by offering high-speed internet access at nine new library branch locations.
The county has installed external WiFi capacity at nine new branches, bringing the total number of branches with external WiFi access in the county to 10. The Towson library branch previously had external internet accessibility.
In order to use the high-speed internet, Baltimore County residents can remain in their cars or adhere to social distancing guidelines. Officials have noted that social distancing requirements will be strictly enforced at these locations.

"We hope these new WiFi resources will help narrow the access gap as we continue to work around the clock to identify additional resources to support Baltimore County families during these trying times," said Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski in a prepared statement.
Residents can visit the BaltCo Go Online Map to find the closest available free internet service in the county to where they live.

Free internet can now be accessed in the parking lots of these library branch locations:
- Catonsville Branch, 1100 Frederick Road, Catonsville
- Essex Branch, 1100 Eastern Boulevard, Essex
- Hereford Branch, 16490 York Road, Hereford
- Landsdowne Branch, 500 Third Avenue, Landsdowne
- North Point Branch, 1716 Merritt Boulevard, Dundalk
- Randallstown Branch, 8604 Liberty Road, Randallstown
- Rosedale Branch, 6105 Kenwood Avenue, Rosedale
- Towson Branch, 320 York Road, Towson
- White Marsh Branch, 8133 Sandpiper Circle, Baltimore
- Woodlawn Branch, 1811 Woodlawn Drive, Woodlawn
Additionally, Comcast has made a number of resources available in its service areas. Low income families who live in a service area can sign up for 60 days of complimentary Internet Essentials service if you apply by May 13. Visit internetessentials.com. Also, any resident can now access hundreds of Comcast public WiFi hotspots throughout the county by visiting wifi.Xfinity.com.
