Friends School Expanding Early Learning Center
The Little Friends Early Learning Center, which is part of the Friends School, will be undergoing construction on North Charles Street.
From The Mullan Contracting Company : The Mullan Contracting Company has been awarded a construction contract from Friends School of Baltimore for the expansion of the Little Friends Early Learning Center’s two-story building located at 5114 N. Charles Street in Baltimore City. The program provides child care and educational services for children under the age of five.
The scope of the work centers on the enlargement of the existing facility to provide additional classrooms and recreational space. It will also extend to the exterior with the completion of site work activities, the installation of new sidewalks and fencingand a modification to the existing deck. “Our top priority with this expansion project, as it is with every assignment performed for an educational institution, is to ensure the complete safety of all stakeholders including students, parents, faculty members and visitors,” explained Joseph Rode, President of The Mullan Contracting Company. “This work will be completed in a dynamic setting and we are extremely careful to minimize any disruption to day-to-day activities.”
