Goucher Student Dies After Being Hit by Car: Baltimore County Police
A Middle River woman was charged, police said.
A student at Goucher College died after a hit-and-run crash in Towson, the Baltimore County Police Department reported Monday.
At 1:44 a.m. on Sunday, 19-year-old Matthew Gabriel was crossing Dulaney Valley Road at Southerly Road when he was hit, police said.
Gabriel, of Austin, TX, was crossing west to east and was not in a crosswalk when he was hit, according to police.

The 2013 Mazda 3 that hit Gabriel was headed northbound in the right turn lane of Dulaney Valley Road, police said.
Gabriel was taken to to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where police said he died Monday morning.

According to the report, police later identified the driver of the Mazda as Kayla Wiseman, 23, of the unit block of Transverse Avenue in Middle River.
Wiseman was charged with hit-and-run and driving under the influence, police said.
