I-695 Reopens After Crash Near Cromwell Bridge Road
A two-vehicle crash closed Interstate 695 for hours Friday morning, officials said.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD โ Lanes have reopened after a crash that closed Interstate 695 near Towson for hours early Friday morning. The collision happened on the outer loop of I-695 at Cromwell Bridge Road, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported.
Two vehicles collided in the area at approximately 2:44 a.m., officials reported.
In the aftermath of the crash, all traffic was diverted onto Perring Parkway, state highway officials said after 3:30 a.m.

The collision was a wrong-way crash, according to Fox 45.
By 5:45 a.m., authorities said lanes had reopened, after a standstill in the area. Traffic cameras near Perring Parkway/MD 41 showed that vehicles were moving in the area of I-695 near Cromwell Bridge Road but congestion remained.

Three people were hospitalized, according to WBAL.
