Ice Cream Shop Scoops Up Video of Suspected Tip Thief
Uncle Wiggly's wants its tips back, and an employee shared video on Facebook allegedly showing a suspect taking the money from the tip jar.
TOWSON, MD – Employees at a local ice cream shop are hoping that the person who stole their tips from a tip jar will come forward after sharing video that allegedly shows her taking money out of the tip jar.
The alleged theft happened Thursday night at Uncle Wiggly's on York Road in Towson, according to an employee who posted the video on Facebook, which the business has since shared on its page as well.

In the video, a woman waiting by the register appears to be seen stuffing her hand in the tip jar before putting the money into her wallet as children watch.
"So today a mother and her children decided to steal all our tips out of the jar!" a person identified as an employee wrote as a caption to the Facebook video. "There was well over $20 in cash and more in coins, and all of it gone. So I hope this shows how messed up the world is and how to be the worst parent ever to teach your kids to be thieves."

Since the woman used a bank card for her purchase at the ice cream shop, Uncle Wiggly's reported it was able to determine her name.
However, WBAL said that upon finding out that she was on probation, the business released the surveillance footage rather than pressing charges in hopes that she will come back with either the money or an apology.
