If Assistance Center of Towson Churches' Walls Could Talk

If walls could talk, at some future date they would be able to tell the story of ACTC's current expansion/renovation project. It's contained in a "Time Capsule" that was implanted Tuesday, October 29 during Week 21 by volunteer builder Bob Hoyt behind insulation in one of the building's new walls. Sometime down the road, when someone opens it, they will find photos of some of the builders and their tools, a news release about the project, ACTC's pamphlet, an invitation to the ground breaking, and a wooden cross on a leather lanyard handmade by volunteer Yarb Ballard. "This way," Bob said, "the building's history will become clear to the next generation."

Looking around indoors, I observed sturdy new doors and insulation throughout the building, including under the floor, that will provide energy efficiency and cost effectiveness. Outdoors I was wowed by ACTC's new look.
