Loch Raven Village Shooting Under Investigation
Police said nonfatal shooting occurred during attempted apartment robbery.

A robbery attempt and shooting that left a man injured in Loch Raven Village Tuesday night is under investigation, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
The shooting victim was hospitalized with injuries that are believed to be non life-threatening, police reported.
He was at home in his Loch Raven Village apartment when multiple people forced their way inside at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money, according to the report. During an ensuing struggle, police said the man was shot in the upper body.

The suspects left without taking anything, according to police.
Detectives are still working to determine whether the victim knew the suspects and if he was targeted, Cpl. John Wachter of the Baltimore County Police Department told Patch Thursday morning.
