Man Charged in Upskirt Filming in Towson Safeway
The man is a Baltimore County employee who has been suspended without pay.

A man who allegedly filmed up women’s skirts in Safeway is facing multiple charges, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
The investigation began when a manager at the supermarket in the 1000 block of York Road in Towson reported that a man had been coming into the store and following women, then filming up their skirts or dresses, police said.
Police say they verified that at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 1, a man entered the store with a cell phone in hand; walked past a female and held his cell phone between her legs; then left and got into a Jeep Wrangler.

Detectives identified the man as David Wayne Sayler, 38, of Westminster, who allegedly admitted to and is charged with visual surveillance in a private place with prurient intent as well as drug possession and drug possession with the intent to distribute, according to police.
The drug charges came after detectives got a search warrant for the Jeep Wrangler and found bags of marijuana “packed in such a way that suggested that they were intended for distribution,” police reported.
