Man Jumps from Hospital Window to His Death: Police
Police said the man was in the custody of Baltimore County corrections officers at the time.

A man in the custody of corrections officers committed suicide at a Towson hospital Thursday night, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
At approximately 11:38 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to St. Joseph Medical Center, where a man had jumped from a fifth-story window, the department reported.
Two officers from the Baltimore County Department of Corrections had been guarding the man and were not able to bring him under control, the report said.

He had been brought to the hospital for treatment when he moved from his bed, broke a window and jumped to the ground, according to the report.
The man, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said. Police said authorities could not disclose why he was in custody.

Police said the body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and both Baltimore County Police Internal Affairs and the Baltimore County Department of Corrections are investigating.
