McCormick Hiring Taco Expert

HUNT VALLEY, MD — McCormick is hiring for a director of taco relations.

The Baltimore County-based spice company will pay up to $100,000 for the job, which will be performed remotely from September to December. It will require up to 20 hours a week.

"As the Director of Taco Relations, you will be McCormick’s resident consulting taco expert," the job listing says. "You will be our official eyes and ears for all things tacos."

In the position, the taco relations director will work with McCormick to create taco recipes, scour the country for taco trends and "dialogue with other like-minded taco connoisseurs across social media," according to the job posting. McCormick spice experts will also loop the director in on their Street Taco seasoning mixes.

The deadline for applicants is 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday, July 20. To be considered, applicants must submit a video that is at least two minutes. They can also submit a cover letter and resume through Microsoft Word or as a PDF.

McCormick is one of a handful of Fortune 500 companies in Maryland. This year it ranked 482nd.
