MOM's In Timonium To Celebrate Company's 30-Year Anniversary
The organic grocery store in the Yorkridge Shopping Center will offer local tastings and activities on Sunday, July 2.

TIMONIUM, MD — The MOM's Organic Market in Timonium will join other MOM's grocery stores this weekend to celebrate the chain's 30-year anniversary. Tastings, family activities and local environmental groups will be on tap on Sunday, July 2, at all of the store's 17 locations.
The market is known for its organic produce, sustainable seafood and array of natural body care products.
Founder Scott Nash hand-delivered his first box of organic produce in Rockville on July 2, 1987. Since then, the concept has grown to include stores in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

"I started this company out of my mom's garage in 1987 with an initial investment of $100," Nash said in a statement about the 30-year anniversary celebration. "Thanks to our customers and employees, we're celebrating this momentous day and the efforts to make the world a better place to live!"
The anniversary celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, at all locations, including at the Yorkridge Shopping Center on Ridgely Road.

In Maryland, MOM's has stores in Bowie, College Park, Frederick, Hampden, Jessup, Rockville, Timonium, Waldorf and White Marsh.
The MOM's in Timonium is located at 20 West Ridgely Road, Lutherville, Maryland, MD 21093.
