Towson To Recognize National Night Out In Patriot Plaza
The Baltimore County Police Department's marine and K-9 units will be at the Towson National Night Out event.
TOWSON, MD - The six Citizens on Patrol groups representing Towson will come together for National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 1, police said.
National Night Out is a community-building event celebrated in hundreds of neighborhoods across the country. Residents will turn on the front porch light to support policing efforts and crime reduction in their neighborhoods. Many communities hold cookouts, street parties and other events, with the support of local law enforcement.
The Towson National Night Out festivities will take place at Patriot Plaza, between Chesapeake and Pennsylvania avenues, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

For the event, K-9 officers and the police boat will be there representing the Baltimore County Police Department.
