Founded in 1873 and sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Preparatory School is a Catholic, independent school for girls in grades 6-12. In the high school, NDP fields teams in all 15 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) competitive sports, as well as squash. Approximately 50% of high school students participate in competitive athletics.
