Officer Hit by Rock Outside Towson Mall: Official
Throngs of young people caused what officials said was a 'disturbance' Saturday outside Towson Town Center.

A police officer was hit amid a “disturbance” at the Towson Town Center on Saturday night, according to officials.
Hundreds of young people were involved in the incident outside the mall, where one officer was hit by a rock, said Councilman David Marks, whose district includes Towson.
The officer did not require medical attention and was one of dozens of police responding to the disruption outside the mall at approximately 10 p.m., WJZ reported. That was one hour after the mall closed.
