Pedestrian Hit on Towsontown Boulevard: Police

Authorities are investigating what they said was a 'serious' crash Thursday afternoon in Towson.

A man was “seriously injured” after being hit by a van in Towson Thursday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Police were dispatched to Towsontown Boulevard at University Avenue, where the crash occurred at approximately 4 p.m., the department reported.

First responders took the pedestrian to Sinai Trauma Center for treatment, according to the report, which characterized his injuries as serious.
