Pedestrian Dies After Towson Crash: Police

A pedestrian died in a crash in Towson early Saturday, Baltimore County police reported.

TOWSON, MD - A pedestrian died in a crash in Towson, the Baltimore County Police Department reported Saturday morning.

Authorities said a 2006 Hyundai Sonata hit a man on Charles Street.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased, police said in a statement before 10:15 a.m.

Albert John Olszewski Jr. was walking in the road on Charles Street south of Gatehouse Drive when he was hit before 12:30 a.m., according to ABC 2 News, which said he lived in the 8600 block of David Avenue in Parkville.

Olszewski, 65, was taken to Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased, WBAL reported.
