Pedestrian Killed Crossing Loch Raven Boulevard: Police
Police said a man who lives in the Towson area was involved in a fatal crash Tuesday night on Loch Raven Boulevard.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a pedestrian was killed Tuesday night crossing Loch Raven Boulevard. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
Mohamed Hamid Idries Hassan, 72, of the 600 block of Walker Avenue, was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, police said.
Hassan had been crossing Loch Raven Boulevard near Sayward Avenue around 9:30 p.m. when he was hit by the Tahoe, which was headed north on Loch Raven Boulevard, officials reported.

Authorities said Hassan was taken to Sinai Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later was pronounced deceased.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is working to identify the factors that contributed to the deadly crash, and the investigation is active as of Wednesday morning.
