Planning Begins For Towsontown Spring Festival 2018

TOWSON, MD — Temperatures may be below freezing outside but spring is just around the corner, and the organizers of the Towsontown Spring Festival reminded their Facebook followers. They shared a video from the 2017 event, which features a sweeping look at the music, food and dancing that go with the festival.

"A new year means another Towsontown Spring Festival! Are you ready for 2018?" the Towsontown Spring Festival organizers posted on Facebook Thursday.

With the National Weather Service forecasting below-freezing temps to last through New Year's Day in Towson, the spring festival was a welcome reminder for many; more than 600 people watched the video as of Thursday afternoon.

For those who will be counting down the days, the Towsontown Spring Festival will be on Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6, 2018. Live music and hundreds of vendors will fill the streets of downtown Towson.
