Woman Fired Gun, Bit Guard In Days Inn Disturbance: Police

TOWSON, MD — A woman who fired a gun amidst an altercation with workers at Days Inn has been taken into custody, according to authorities. Police said nobody was injured, despite the fact that biting and shooting erupted during the disturbance.

Officers were called to the Days Inn in the 8700 block of Loch Raven Boulevard at 2:07 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9. They said they were investigating a domestic disturbance and report of shots fired.

A woman who had been staying at the hotel was taken into custody, police reported after 4 p.m.

Police allege the guest was engaged in an altercation with the hotel clerk and a security guard when she fired a handgun.

After firing the gun, officials said she was restrained and bit the guard.
